CREATION OF A bIO-INSPIRED ROBOT
Drawing upon Dr. Giovanni Bianchi and Dr. Simone Cinquemani’s designs of a bioinspired 3D printed mechanical Cownose Ray, I created a 3D printed replica of the sea creature which will be pursued with further research into programming and servo motors.
Golf ball cannon
It all begins with a challenge, and with this invention the challenge was to create a Golf Ball Cannon capable of propelling a standard golf ball in the range of approximately 225 yards with accuracy, using only air propulsion.
Designing Tiny Homes
The project challenge was to create a tiny home, easily replicable, and desirable to a wide range of individuals, that could be moved on a standard semi-truck for permanent fixture anywhere in the country. This project won the design award for the Designing with the Pros class and was accepted by a national home builder as the most feasible proposal submitted by a student designer.
ACE mentor program: 2022 oUTSTANDING sTUDENT aWARD
Engineering combined with projects and a corporate sponsor was the basis for the Designing with the Pros course. As a result of my designs, project management, and team-building skills, I was the recipient of the ACE (Architecture, Construction, and Engineering) Outstanding Student Award.
Design a City Project
The challenge: design a city of the future capable of fully sustaining its population. A government, education system, infrastructure, energy, and recreation plan was developed and the mini-utopian city, later named Arcadia, was constructed.
Honor Societies
Charter Member of Mu Alpha Theta Chapter at CBA
Mu Alpha Theta is a nationally recognized mathematics honor society. In 2024, our AP Calculus BC class (the first ever in Clayton-Bradley Academy history) applied and received permission to establish a Mu Alpha Theta Chapter at Clayton-Bradley Academy. In this honor society, we hone our calculus abilities and celebrate our love of mathematics.
National Honor Society Service Coordinator
I joined the National Honor Society in my Junior year (2023-2024) and was nominated as the CBA chapter’s Service Coordinator in my Senior year (2024-2025). As the Service Coordinator, I organize service days for our chapter to participate in and give back to our local community.
Preforming Arts
Poetry Out Loud 10th Grade and 11th grade representative
Reciting poetry with feeling, understanding, and empathy in front of an audience, and placing as a school finalist for two years in a row is a personal triumph of mine.
Piano Soloist and Guitar accompanist for Orchestra
As a junior, I accompanied the CBA Orchestra on both the classical guitar and piano at the semester-culminating performances in winter, spring, and graduation ceremonies.
